1. About these terms

This website is run by Bab Al Amani General Trading LLC, a limited liability company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (trade licence no. [000000]). Our details are in the legal notice. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

2. Information on this site

We keep the content accurate and up to date, but it's general information, not an offer or advice. Product ranges, transit times and other details are typical and can change. Transit times depend on shipping lines, ports, weather, customs and other factors outside our control.

3. Quotes and orders

Nothing on this website is a binding offer. A contract exists only when we have issued a written quote and both sides have confirmed the order in writing. Each order is governed by the quote, our terms of sale and the Incoterms® 2020 rule stated in it. If anything on this website conflicts with those documents, the documents apply.

4. Using the site

You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You must not:

• try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected system;
• introduce viruses or other harmful code, or overload the site;
• scrape or copy the site in bulk with automated tools without our permission;
• pretend to be Bab Al Amani, or use our name or logo to deceive anyone.

5. Intellectual property

The Bab Al Amani name, the Rising Arcade logo, the website design and our text belong to Bab Al Amani General Trading LLC. You may view, print and share pages for your own business purposes, but you may not change them or use them commercially without our written permission. Photos are used under the Unsplash licence, and fonts under the SIL Open Font License. Credits are in the legal notice.

6. Links to other websites

Where we link to other websites, we do so for convenience. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.

7. Liability

We provide this website free of charge and "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content, including loss of profit, business or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.

8. Payment fraud warning

We will never change our bank details by email. If you receive a message asking you to pay a new account, call us on +971 4 584 5996 using the number on this site before paying anything. We aren't responsible for payments made to accounts we didn't confirm by phone.

9. Trade compliance

We comply with UAE law, UN Security Council sanctions and the export control and sanctions rules that apply to our suppliers, banks and shipping partners. We may refuse or cancel an order where supplying it would break those rules. We don't pay bribes or facilitation payments.

Tobacco products. We sell cigarettes, shisha tobacco and related products only to businesses holding the licences the destination country requires, never to consumers. Nothing on this website is an advertisement for, or promotion of, any tobacco product or brand.

10. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you are a consumer, this doesn't take away any mandatory protection you have under the laws of the country where you live.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you use the site applies.
